What is the Little Blooms Project?

Something that has come up with our families is the worry our children carry with them after they have lost a sibling. We aim to help children have the conversation within the classroom more openly. We have designed a programme that we would like to invite your school community to take part inThe Little Blooms Community Garden Programme aim is to help your child to Honour, Remember and Shine.

The programme will include in-class facilitation led by an artist, teaching children how to make their own seeded paper so they can plant this at home or in the Eco Garden. We will also have an art therapist at the session to help steer the conversation around remembering our loved ones. We appreciate not every child will have lost a sibling but we can help provide the tools to hold the conversation with another child that wants to talk it over openly.
