Darcy McKenna Cup

The Darcy McKenna Tournament is a heartfelt annual basketball competition organised by Lindsey and Paul McKenna in memory of their beloved daughter, Darcy. This special event brings together families, friends, and communities across Northern Ireland to celebrate Darcy’s legacy while raising essential funds for the Little Forget Me Nots Trust.

Through this day of friendly competition and shared remembrance, bereaved parents and their supporters find comfort, camaraderie, and a chance to make lasting memories together. This year saw a record turnout, with double the number of teams joining in, and enthusiasm continues to grow—with siblings now eager to join in next year’s event.

Each year, the Darcy McKenna Tournament becomes a beautiful reminder of the strength found in the community, the joy of honouring loved ones, and the healing power of coming together.
