Derry/Londonderry Just Be Cafe

Welcome to Just Be Cafes - a warm and welcoming space for bereaved parents to come together and find solace in shared experiences. With locations in Lurgan, Omagh, and Derry/Londonderry, we invite you to join us for drop-in sessions designed to provide support and connection.

Each month, on designated Tuesdays, our Just Be Cafes open their doors. In Derry/Londonderry, our meeting takes place at the Holywell Trust Building on Bishops Street, on the third Tuesday, from 10am to 2pm.

Each session has been designed with 3 key elements in mind:

1. Just Be Crafting

An opportunity to pick up a crafting kit and get lost in creative expression or find the creativity flare you didn't know you had.

2. Just Be Talking

Simply grab a cuppa and catch up with old and new friends. This is not talk therapy, this is just a chance to relax and have a conversation with no pressure to wear a mask.

3. Just Being in the Moment

A designated full hour, at the end of your session to take your shoes off, sit back on a comfy chair and be guided by Nikcollette through some intentional breathing and meditative techniques that are chosen specifically to release anxiety, stress and tension in the body.

Think of this as your time to rest and recharge, in whichever way or ways, that speak to you.

You can drop in, or you can come for the 4hrs!

You decide what you need and want, and we will meet you there!

Guiding us with her warmth and expertise is Nikcollette, who is dedicated to ensuring that every participant feels heard and valued. Together, we create a space where you can connect with others who understand your journey and offer mutual support in a safe and compassionate setting.

Join us at Just Be Cafes and discover the comfort and camaraderie that comes from sharing experiences with others who truly understand. We look forward to welcoming you with open arms.
