We want to connect you with alternative ways that may help you figure out techniques to overcome obstacles whenever you feel ready to face the world again and begin to live with grief.

Date: 15th May

Time: 7.30-9.00 pm

Location: Online

This Session with be facilitated by Louise Taylor, founder of Little Forget Me Nots Trust and talented artist, who specialises in embroidery and punch needling.

Louise, after years of helping traditional craftspeople deliver workshops and bringing new life to an old traditional skill, was inspired to pick up a needle and thread. In a time of extreme grief, Louise began to build her own business which has flourished and continues to bloom under the name, Little Forget Me Nots.

Louise’s ethos is that using our hands can help our mental health.

During this relaxed online session you will have the opportunity to turn your hand at embroidery with a kit that will be posted to you in advance of the session. This is a chance to meet with others, learn more about the Little Forget Me Nots Trust, to chat about your experience and just have a chilled out evening crafting.

This session will be £5 to cover the postage of resources.

If you have been affected by any of the issues raised in the NI Mental Health Arts Festival, there are resources available at:
